Senior Application Developer

Our client is looking for a team player and be able be able to complete projects on time. Culture is a small company feel but are a large player.
- This will include overseeing all project requirements, along with their implementation, testing, and deployment
- You will need to guide the project team to comply with budget and time restrictions and collaborate with Kellogg’s internal business groups and external vendor partners to deliver real value to the company
- The Senior Application Developer takes charge of defining the project engagement process, starting with the solution-building activities and leading to all end-to-end integrations
- With their involvement, cross-functional teams ensure that the project and programs are delivered accurately and timely
- The role entails ensuring the timely delivery of projects while operating within agreed budgets and meeting requirements that align with the project objective
- This will involve working with external vendors and consultants while leveraging on architectural and program management methodologies
- Effective personal relationships with Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, Business Relationship Managers & Subject Matter Experts are essential to delivering successful business applications
- You will use Kellogg’s strategies and techniques to ensure all project deliverables are completed excellently, including managing comprehensive testing processes
- Establishing effective and efficient professional relationships swiftly is a necessary ability, especially when operating across diverse cultures and geographies, from a Business Analyst to a Vice President
- Through active and transparent communication, vendors can be effectively integrated into a company’s supply chain to create value
Additional Notes:
Work on software development of Java applications, databases and webservices including J2EE framework and RDBMS such as Oracle and/or SQL Server. Use IDE such as Eclipse or ItelliJ, GitHub, Microservices framework, web-based data formats (XLM or JSON), and Guidewire products. May use MarkLogic, Snowflake and similar technologies. Work on continuous improvement and build management including use of technologies such as Jenkins, Maven, Ant, Concourse, etc.
